Some are connected with the memory of very respectable men and events. They are intended to keep alive the memory of those events and personalities and inspire people to follow their examples.

i like diwali the most because of the beautiful designs caused by the rockets and i feel the diyas lighted up brings happiness in me.I Always await for festivals and feel happy the most at those days.
